Dr. Kanady and I met in 1986, married in 1987 and opened Kanady Chiropractic together in 1988. I have been running the front desk since the beginning and our business is my passion. I raised two kids behind the desk so that I could ensure we were providing the very best care to our patients. I am very proud of the reputation we have built and get so much satisfaction from helping patients get the care they deserve.
I am blessed I get to work with my husband and daughter every day and many days you can even find my son and his wife visiting the office. I couldn’t be happier that both of our kids moved back to Alaska after college and live and work so close to us. We truly are a family run business.

I was born and raised on the East Coast but married a Montanan who convinced me to move our family to Alaska. Raising our son and daughter, helping with our family owned construction business and volunteer work has made for a busy and rewarding life. In my spare time I enjoy trying new recipes and planning our next trip to Italy.
When we became empty-nesters in 2015, I decided it was time to try something new and started at Kanady Chiropractic. I love that this a family business; I feel more like a family member than an employee. Dr. Kanady has been an Anchorage provider for over 30 years and I love that he has patients that have been coming to see him since the beginning. I am proud to work for a facility that puts the patient’s needs first and is honest in all aspects of their business.
I enjoy working in the chiropractic field because it is very rewarding to see patients experience real relief from their pain without relying on prescriptions or more costly and invasive procedures. As the insurance manager here, it brings me great satisfaction to help patients maximize their insurance benefits and assist in resolving any issues that arise.
Born in California, but raised in Colorado, I moved to Alaska in 2013 to explore the wilderness! I love backpacking in the summer, road trips to Valdez for snowboarding, camping and hiking. During Alaska’s long dark winters, I’m always up for karaoke with friends!
I’ve been at Kanady Chiropractic for about four years and I love everyone I work with! The Kanady’s are very generous people and I’m proud to work for them. There is a mutual respect in the office and we all get along really well.
I’ve always had an appreciation for chiropractic care. I loved getting adjusted as a kid. Now working in the field, my favorite thing is to see patients feeling better. It’s always rewarding to see something you believe in benefit others.

Being born into the Kanady clan, and practically growing up behind the front desk, I was destined to join the family business. I worked here off and on throughout high school, college and started full time in January of 2017.
I graduated from South Anchorage High School in 2009 and decided to venture out of state to the University of Washington for college. Upon graduating, I couldn’t wait to get back to Alaska’s great outdoors. I missed the mountains and miles of coastline. In my free time I enjoy hiking, fishing, camping and showmachining. And hanging out with Howard, AKA the biggest/coolest French Bulldog.
I enjoy working in the chiropractic field because I get to witness tiny miracles every day. Our IDD Therapy offers patients an alternative to surgery and I love seeing patients get relief from our treatment rather than undergoing surgery. And of course, I enjoy getting to work with my family every day.
I was born and raised in Alaska and graduated from West High School in 2017. Growing up in Alaska, I’ve always been an outdoorsy girl. Whether it’s fishing, hiking or just an adventure to get out of the house, you can always count me in.
I’ve been with Kanady Chiropractic for a little over two years and I have stayed because I thoroughly enjoy my job. The atmosphere is welcoming, and my coworkers have become my second family.
I like the chiropractic field because I enjoy seeing the progress and the change in patients as they receive care. People can become the best form of themselves once they start to feel better and I enjoy seeing that transformation in patients.
I was born and raised in Alaska, graduated from South High School in 2017 and am currently attending UAA with hopes of becoming a doctor. When I’m not at work or in school, I enjoy shopping and being outdoors.
I have stayed with Kanady Chiropractic for about three years because I really enjoy the work environment, the Kanady’s are amazing employers and I enjoy working in the medical field. I like the medical field because I love seeing patients come in not feeling well and leave with a smile on their face. It’s very rewarding to experience first-hand.

Born in California, raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Alaska when I married my best friend in 2014. It didn’t take long to fall in love with this beautiful place. My husband and I enjoy everything there is to do outside! We especially enjoy backpacking, fishing, biking and climbing in the summer sunshine. Besides taking advantage of the local beauty, we also love to go on adventures and travel to see other parts of the world, especially while participating in a worldwide volunteer work.
I’ve been with Kanady since January 2018, and right away I felt like part of the family. The Kanady’s and all the staff sincerely care for each individual patient, which isn’t hard because the patients are incredible! I am so proud and privileged to work with all of them. I absolutely love playing a small role in helping improve someone’s health and wellness, it truly is a rewarding career!

I was born and raised an Alaskan girl. My parents came to Alaska as a temporary work trip, and the rest is history! I am so happy that they decided to stay because I can’t imagine a better place to grow up where the outdoors were my playground. I was practically raised camping the first five years of my life living in a typical Alaskan cabin off the beaten path. My husband and I love anything to do with the outdoors whether it’s fishing, camping, hiking, snowboarding, traveling or volunteer work.
Working at Kanady Chiropractic has been so wonderful and the Kanady’s make me feel like I am part of the family.
I love providing massage in a chiropractic office because the patient’s health and wellness is the focal point.
I’m a purebred French Bulldog but am about 20 pounds larger than most Frenchies so many patients ask what I am. Until recently, I wasn’t allowed out of the file room at the office, but when patients started asking for me to come out, the owners (AKA Grandma and Grandpa) started letting me come visit. Now I can often be found behind the front desk begging for bites of everyone’s lunches or forcing my love and affection on anyone who walks through our doors. I have attained the prestigious job title of Office Mascot. When I’m not at work, I enjoy long hikes in the mountains, swimming in lakes and playing with all my friends at the dog park.
